Erik ten Hag has provided an update on his options for Manchester United’s clash with Bournemouth tomorrow afternoon.
The Red Devils will be looking to make it five wins out of their past six Premier League games with a convincing victory over the travelling Cherries, and they’ll have the Old Trafford faithful rallied behind them from the first blow of the whistle.
Last time out, United overturned Chelsea 2-1 on home turf thanks to a Scott McTominay brace. The win moved them up to sixth place and just three points off of Manchester City in fourth.
In terms of Saturday’s squad, Ten Hag will be forced into a line-up change as Victor Lindelof, who started against the Blues, has been ruled out. He was replaced at half-time on Wednesday evening by Sergio Reguilon and Luke Shaw helped accommodate the change by moving into a central role.
On a more positive note, Raphael Varane is available to play after missing the midweek outing with a sore back, while Jonny Evans also returned to the pitch in the closing stages of the match after his four-week absence with an injury.
Amad Diallo has trained with the squad this week for the first time this season, as he eagerly anticipates some minutes following a long-term layoff.
