Carolina Panthers breakout running back Chuba Hubbard knows what he did during the 2023 season was special.

Now, he wants to do it again.

On Wednesday, when speaking with reporters, Hubbard revealed that through previous season's injuries, he was preparing for a moment to shine like he did last season.

“I wanna be one of the best tools for this team," Hubbard said of his goal heading into the 2024 season. "I wanna win. I wanna win in Carolina. So, however, that looks—me catching the ball [or] me pass blocking, running the ball — I need to be my best. So whatever it takes.”

Hubbard ran for 902 yards on 238 attempts during 2023. He also tacked on five touchdowns.

It was the former fourth-round pick's best season. And a dramatic step up from a 2022 season that saw him only tally 95 attempts, 466 yards and two touchdowns.

Heading into what will be an important contract year for Hubbard, who was drafted in 2021, he is looking to build off confidence earned through elite play.

"Getting back to building up a good base, a solid base, and then putting it all together—I think that was big for me,” Hubbard said.

It was good for the Panthers too.
