The Chicago Bears have announced their captains for Week 16 vs. the Seattle Seahawks: outside linebacker Bruce Irvin, guard Germain Ifedi, and punter Pat O’Donnell.
Bears head coach Matt Nagy instituted a rotating captain policy for this season. While this policy was questioned due to a lack of defined leaders, it has actually worked out well due to key players missing time because of injuries or COVID-19.
The Bears are currently 4-10 while the Seahawks have a 5-9 record. Seattle is technically still in the playoff picture while Chicago will be playing for pride and development. Sunday’s kickoff is at 3:05 PM CST and the game will air on FOX.
